Contempt of Court

Theresa May, the current Home Secretary, has been found guilty of contempt of court.

It must be quite embarrassing as the government's minister in charge of criminal matters to be found guilty of contempt of court for failing to comply with a court order.

If a government Minister does not comply with a court order then why should the rest of us?

Embarrassing? Why, when the PM can just make a lot of noise about a celebrity and no-one will bother to report about boring old Theresa May? For every extra day that guy spends in prison, May should spend an equal time there. Now that would be embarrassing.

When is she in court for sentencing? I can't find this information anywhere.

She has been sentenced already.

The original report from the Telegraph suggests that no punishment was imposed for the finding of contempt.

This was just another case of our governments getting away with things that the general public can't!

I just wonder when there's going to come an end to all of this!
